Looking for a different day out while on holiday in Teignmouth or perhaps a chance to head inland for a change? The Exeter Festival runs from 5-7 July 2019 throughout the city, with most of the action taking place in Northernhay Gardens at the heart of the city centre.
The weekend, for locals and visitors alike, starts on Friday 5 July with Exeter Festival Films in the Park, catch an outdoor screening of the Greatest Showman or the musical movie phenomenon Bohemian Rhapsody.
On Saturday 6 July join us between 12pm and 5pm for Exeter Festival in the Park, we’ll be showcasing the best in local talent and it’s free! In the evening multi-platinum internationally renowned band the Hoosiers will be performing, supported by the hi-energy 10 piece band Joey the Lips, performing their Funk, Soul, Blues and Disco set.
Exeter Festival Funday in the Park on Sunday 7 July is a family day, start the morning with a family screening of Mary Poppins Returns followed by an afternoon of performances, demonstrations and activities to get everyone up and moving hosted by Chris Dinnis. You can also discover the Blue Boy Trail, a new family walking trail taking in all the sights of the City. Pick up a map and find all the Blue Boys for a chance to win a prize!
